Mullins underrates women artists

Edward Mullins contributes a valuable critical perspective on the inability of most celebrated male artists to see women as human beings, as well as providing insights on the outstanding minority who escape this disability. It is regrettable and ironic that Mullins reveals his own sexism in his patronizing evaluations of the work of the few women artists he bothers to mention.

do men really hate women???

I read this book for a college level art history course and loved every bit of it. The author, Edward Mullins is researching Germaine Greer's statement about men hating women. This book is informative of the many great works depicting female figures as well as the artists who painted them. I recommend to any art lover...I'm unsure as to how men will interpret this book for themselves...????
