She never knew where this road was taking her to until she began working in the tax industry. Learning from mistakes of other businesses, servicing clients and using her parent's sense of owning her own business, she struck out on her own. She takes you on her journey and the many road blocks and obstacles while trying to succeed. In this book she describes her many tasks she had to overcome in learning to do business and stay in business. She remembers the struggles she witness with her parents in business and the sacrifices made. As a black woman in business, who had to learn to master her craft, as well as learn to market, network and advertise on her own with minimum help, she shows you that it can be done.
