Flavio loses his sight following an emotional trauma. He tries with Sandra, a psychoanalyst, to find a minimum of inner peace. What images remain for those who no longer see? The experiences remain and in the case of Flavio the memory of many countries crossed as a reporter and writer. From Africa to the East we have the opportunity to regret a past world in which it was possible to move easily anywhere. Thinking nowadays of crossing Afghanistan on one's own vehicle or even Africa would be unthinkable unless, you don't care about life. You can do, an essay said, only if your health stink. Through the dialogues with Sandra, Flavio relives the drama of the loss of his beloved, for whose tragic death he thinks to be responsible. Starting from these premises, the story could appear dramatic, but in reality it is not, because it does not lack irony and humor, which are indispensable ingredients in rediscovering the pleasure of living.
