A Jewel in the Midst!

By accident, I came across this book at a library book sale and purchased it. I am so glad I did as it was one of the best books I have ever read. I learned so much even though it is fiction about three orphans bound for the unknown during the 1850's to the early twentieth century. Over 100,000 orphans rode these trains. I could not put this book down as I couldn't wait to read the next page and the next. Anyone who enjoys historical fiction filled with hope, love and the power of faith will enjoy this book. This is a book I have saved to pass on to sister in laws and nieces to read. Written and published in 1990, but this book will stand the test of time. That is for certain.
