One of the most intriguing researched and mysterious portions of scripture is the topic concerning the origin of demons. There are many theories, legends and teachings by various prophets, apostles, scholars and many who profess to be authorities on the subject. The truth of the matter is the Bible is our major source of proof that demons exist and the origin of demons is not very clear in scripture to the casual eye. There have been many who declare that their view is correct and who seek to validate this view by their vast amount of research and effort put into seeking for answers. This in and of itself does not make one's research or hypothesis correct or accurate because of the length of time spent investigating a subject. It is the quality of research that went into the research as well as the sources of information that was used and what were these sources. Can we as believers place any documentation on the same level as the scriptural evidences? I don't think that any source should overwhelm the Biblical text as making something a valid Biblical doctrine or teaching. In this text, I seek to reveal the various teachings on the subjects that I have come across and seek to reveal these doctrines in an impartial manner and yet I am bound by scripture and my oath as a Minister of the Gospel of Christ to stand on the Word of God and the truth it proclaims. For this reason I will adequately review the doctrinal issues and I will point my own beliefs on the subject and will give reasons for these considerations. It is my intention to reveal truth and I will not be as bold as others are and condemn anyone else's views or teachings. This text when written was used as a teaching text and therefore it is in an outline format. It is my prayer that it can be used to help better inform those who are students of demonology.
