Spreading Christian Friendship among women

This book is wonderful, my description is no it is not deep into theology, but it is a good every day guide to living. A group of ladies from our church decided we needed to know more about each others as friends, so each month we have a partner and we do our daily devotion alone and then if there is something we want to share with our partner we contact via phone, e-mail, letter or meeting. My partner and I meet once a week. We are sad that at the end of the month we will change partners, but we know the goal is to reach out to many as friends. Great Women's Devotional

My daughter gave me The One Year Women's Friendship Devotional for Christmas. I'm only in the second month and it has been so uplifting and encouraging. Every day I look forward to getting up and starting my day wondering what story connecting the scripture Cheri and Sandra will tell that day. If you are looking for a gift for any women-young or older, any occasion, or just a thoughtful gift, this devotional would make the perfect gift and be a blessing.

Great Devotional

I bought this book for myself and a friend for Christmas. I've not missed a day reading it in 2009. I look forward to pouring my first cup of coffee each morning and then reading an insightful story from Cheri or Sandra. Both authors have taken their experiences and insights and put them together in a powerful way. I highly recommend their book.

Great Devotional for Women

I am a big fan of the One Year Bible and this devotional for women by Cheri Fuller and Sandra Aldrich is a wonderful addition to the "One Year" series of books. The Bible verses used seemed to have been picked very carefully to correspond to the devotion and the stories and illustrations used really bring home spiritual lessons that apply to women in all walks of life. Each week there is a theme for the readings and at the end of each week, there are reflection questions for personal use and discussion questions if you are using this as a group. If You are looking for helps to spice up your quiet time, this is a great book to start. It also makes a great gift for other women in your life.
