The Bible is full of wisdom

From Genesis to Revelation, Chris finds exceptional wisdom. Every day he stimulates me to look at the corners of my life that need upgrading. This is an inspiring daily journey. Each devotional challenges me; rarely can I honestly say that I know that or am doing that already.

Excellent; plan to buy many for gifts next year

This little devotional is direct, clear and convicting. I appreciate the author's observations about mankind, human nature and our relationship with God. I find my thinking realigned with His as I read from this book. Lots to ponder... I will probably read this again another year. I have already bought a copy for a friend. The format: a section of Scripture is listed but not written out; a verse or part of a verse from the passage is written out at the top of the page; a famous Christian is quoted in the margin (just a sentence or two); the author's message re. the passage takes up most the page; one page per day

Renew your mind and your LIFE!

I have been reading this book all year and it is so awesome!! You know how usually you start out reading these dated devotionals faithfully at the beginning of the year and then lose interest, well not with this one! Over and over the daily readings have totally met me and challenged me where I was that day! My husband had to have heart bypass surgery on Sept. 9th and after they took him down to surgery, I opened this devotional to Sept. 9th and the Scripture for that day was Psalm 91!!! What awesome comforting words from God that day for me. (Now you will have to read Psalm 91 to see what I mean!)
