This is the gospel of an occult healer (and cult leader) named Benny Evangelist. An Italian American immigrant, Benny would eventually settle in Hantramck, Michigan and began an occult practice out of his home. Part cult leader, part faith healer, Benny and his family would be murdered on July 3rd, 1929. Police would later discover strange paper mache figures in his basement believed to be a part of his practice. The crime goes unsolved to this day.
