Very good material

Melton Shorts' "The Old Testament Made Simple," and its companion "The New Testament Made Simple," are as good as it gets for a basic, easily understood Biblical survey, small group study. Mr. Short breaks the Bible down into (as he puts it) "a skeletal framework," allowing the student to mentally organize the events of the Bible for future study ("putting meat on the skeleton" of the study). Mr. Shorts' "World Impact Ministries" offers both a powerpoint and overhead projector presentation to accompany this study book. The PP presentations are pretty basic but, a good instructor, who knows the material and who takes time to prepare ahead of time can really use this coursework to teach. In my opinion you will not find a much better study for the money or time.
