Gentle English history

Norah Lofts explores the fortunes and loves of three generations whose home the Old Priory, that long abandoned and probably cursed pile of stones. Lofts paints a picture of life under James and Elizabeth filled with details without being dry. Book jacket beautifully illustrated. Printed on non-fading quality paper.
