Semi-Finalist LA International Screenplay Awards, 2025: I thought of Finding Nemo while reading this script. It felt like the blend of underwater adventure, humor, and heartfelt moments really resonated with that playful yet emotional vibe. The characters' interactions reminded me of how they face ridiculous situations-like a fish navigating a sushi bar-while dealing with deeper themes like family and survival. Plus, there's something about the chaotic energy when Gilly goes on a rampage that was reminiscent of Dory's goofy antics, providing that perfect mix of tension and comedy as everyone scrambles to figure things out together.

After a genetically modified octopus escapes from North Korea to Hawaii, Gilly is discovered by a group of people who do everything they can to keep her safe from the military as well as other nefarious parties. Together they save The USS Arizona Memorial from attack.

Octopuses are among Earth's most intelligent animals. They live 3-5 years. Imagine an octopus that has lived for decades and has become one of Earth's most intelligent creatures. That is Gilly; the star of the story. Gilly was befriended by a Marine Biologist who set her up with an information hub, where she learned our language and technology. Located in an unknown section of the Mermaid's Cave in Oahu, it has been decorated with monitors and salt water plants; it has become The Octopus's Garden.
