When Emma Carlson chose to search for a member from her mother's lost side, she left her home in Penzance to rent a room in Land's End, owned by a rural farmer Jonah Barton. She had no idea that the Barton house was cursed by a coven of witches over four hundred years ago and any who lived upon the land will have heartache and tragedy. She basically dismissed it. After all, she would be there a short time until she found a relative in the lying areas. What she didn't expect was the child who lived at the Barton house was possessed by the evil demon residing in the upper, sealed floor. Emma made herself an unwitting target when the owner Jonah Barton takes a shine to her. Insanely jealous, the child's goal is to keep any woman from Jonah, her friend, her guardian. This leads to the attempted deaths by this child on Emma. Emma must make the crucial decision to remain for Jonah whom she'd grown to love or escape the insanity of the house for her own safety.
