It is a fertile area, a place of life. To the desert traveler, the oasis is a place of welcome relief. It is a marvellous thing to come to an oasis. This is where we find refreshment, revival, renewal, rejuvenation, rest and relief.

This is God's turnaround where He takes something dry and barren, almost dead and turns it around for good and creates an oasis for His people. He takes something dead and gives it life, like the resurrection of Jesus. This is something only God is able to do
