Set in present day Grand Prairie, Texas, a single mother of three moves into a drug infested apartment complex; tired of being broke she turns to hustling but falling for the wrong guy she allows him to take over her hustle to support his two other baby mommas. In Dalworth a young dope boy lives in his grandmother's backyard shed where he sells crack out of at the age of nine. After a few years once granny got a new boyfriend his carefree days were outnumbered and sent off to live with his older sister, who stays in the apartments next door to The Oaks. Hustling hard he tries to make it for his new family as his closest homeboy hates on him and tries to take everything. Making it hard for a brotha to work and hold down a hustle. Running in the shadows of The Oaks, the dope boys do the best they can to suck all the money out by any means necessary. It's a blood thirsty game, only the strong survive in The Oaks
