Mercilessly Rea;

Whether you can identify with the character Nesta Ali and all his adventures or not, The Nostrildamus Document is undoubtedly one of the greatest books ever written. You instantaneously become engrossed in the story and find yourself not wanting to put the book down. It is a crystal clear depiction of a journey not many of us as humans are willing to take. Although some of the language and stories are hard to digest, you still find yourself wanting more. This is a talented young author who has much to offer to the writing world. As an avid reader, I look forward to reading any future books by Courtney Cascadian.

Intriguing Book, You have to read it!!!!

I found The Nostrildamus Document shocking to the point that I had to put the book down at times and this is from a person who has seen quite a bit himself. In Nesta Ali is a character so raw that to think that he actually exists somewhere could be somewhat disturbing for some, probably many. The difference between say Sammy Gravano's book where he's describing his first hit and Nesta Ali is that Gravano's not capable of sparking a revolution nor is he trying to. This is not to say Ali is but the thing is that you don't know. With Ali, you have to keep an eye on him. If he's in the room with me I want to know where he's at, at all times. To his credit, good or bad, from the beginning of the book to the end, he bases his life upon an evolving code of ethics--the core of which remain unchanged. It's not so much that he's not good but that he feels he's right--in his responses to those who he perceives to trespass against him, responses which are often gritty and raw to say the least--but the crazy part is how cognizant he is of his actions and the situations he finds himself in, versus most of us who just "lose it" when we do snap. I think that whoever Ali is, that he is blessed to perceive things the way he does, it's truly a one of a kind perspective and through thick and thin he maintains the courage to stick to his principles--that if nothing else should be commendable. It's amazing how someone who could be seen as one of the most horrible characters of this era, certainly one of the most complicated by anybody's standards, also manages to inspire
