Book Overview

The Aerbon Saga is a series of interconnected but standalone novels taking place across the Aerbonean landmass in the world of Urea.

Robin was a typical Ahglorian, spending the majority of his days as a hunter and farmer. He made annual trips to trade the excess of his hunts and harvests with the Kingdom of Legion's merchants and the elves of Aenor during the Autumn and Winter seasons. That quickly changed following the passage of a royal decree in 1E78, however, with King Louis Delaunay IV declaring a tax upon the Ahglorian hemp that passed through his lands. The people of Ahglor were a hardy folk who grew the stuff to smoke and trade with the elves of Aenor between hunting and farming in the northern reaches of their mountainous country. Unfortunately for the people of Ahglor, the Imperial king was a fiend for their weed and so his men confiscated it at the borders- arresting any who carried the product of the North during their travels to exchange it for the absinthe of their elvish neighbours. So it was that Robin found himself forced to amass the forces of Ahglor and Legion in their efforts to overthrow the greedy king so as to free their people from his tyrannical rule.

Meanwhile in Aenor, however, a mysterious threat plagued the elvish land. The residents of their coastal towns were disappearing in the night and the reports were only growing with each passing year. Although the Great Chief was reluctant to investigate the matter further, he soon found himself with no choice but to arrange an expedition into the fog-shrouded lands across the water after a body washed up on their shores, thus confirming their greatest fears. So it was that Isal and her husband Sendarin found themselves with no choice but to join the expedition, hoping to recover their missing son before a similar fate befell him.
