This story is an account of what happened to the drugged and abandoned rat in "The Case of the Cracked Teapot" from the "Case files of the "The Well-Oiled Wheels Detective Agency". It follows his awaking in a drugged haze with amnesia. He meets a toad who assists him in finding help while he struggles to remember who he is and what happened to him. Reluctant to reveal that he doesn't know who he is, the rat creates an identity. Count Ratzillov of the Ratzillovs of Rumbaiggo. Count Ratzy for short.
