What appeared from Earth to be a strange disappearance is actually a catastrophe spreading across thousands of light-years.
As Luna's blood becomes infused with silver stellar phosphor, she develops the ability to see and hear the wounded cosmos. Together with Riley, she must navigate the shattered Resonance Drift, evade Mara's hunters, and reach the imprisoned stars before the entire celestial order collapses.
Their journey becomes a battle not only against an enemy, but against fear, exhaustion, and the temptation to surrender to the cold. Riley is eventually struck by Mara's anti-matter weapon, leaving his life and Luna's survival hanging in the balance. In the final confrontation, Luna turns the bond between mortal and star into a weapon, while the forgotten Weaver Wren finally confronts the destruction he helped unleash. Mara is defeated, the imprisoned light is freed, and the stolen stars begin their return.
But victory comes with a price. Riley cannot simply remain on Earth. To restore the Northern Wheel, he must return to the sky and reclaim his place among the stars. Luna must let him go, knowing that their connection will never truly disappear.
When Luna finally returns to her family's meadow, the night is no longer broken.
