The Night Santa Got Lost

When Santa's lead reindeer can't be found one foggy Christmas eve, Mrs. Claus' cat, Charlie, volunteers to lead the sleigh, explaaining that he can see in the dark, therefore he can do the job. After being rebuffed by Santa, a determined Charlie heads to the loaded sleigh, seeking a place to hide there until the sleigh has lifted off. None can be found. So, after a few minutes of thought, Charlie comes up with a great idea. He takes out a gift and buries it in the snow. Then he hides in the bag. When he is eventually discovered by Santa, Charlie gets in a lot of trouble, especially for the bag coming up short on a gift, leaving a little boy crying. But Charlie saves the day by cleverly replacing the lost gift with something that only he could think of.
