When a group of students uses an experimental computer program that simulates their tenth high school reunion, they get an unsettling look at their possible futures. This description may be from another edition of this product.
The binding on the book is getting torn up due to the number of times I have reread it. Each time I reread I see things that I didn't before. The characters are amazing, each with their own good qualities and their weaknesses. Tess's transformation is one of my favorite parts, how she describes how she hid under her long jackets. The Night Room is a must read for anyone, not even young people, who enjoy science fiction of any kind.
Great sci-fi/drama novel for mid-teenagers.

I read this book last year, but I must say it's one of the best. A group of teenagers who enter a program to see their high-school reunion find shocking, bizarre results, with a murder plot also mixed in. This book will keep you up all night. The solution to the story and the roles of a few minor characters, like the creator of Argus and the person who tampers with the program, are a bit complicated aren't explained entirely. The whole experience brings out the true feelings of our heroes, such as Terry and Ira. IT has adventure, romance, comedy, suspense!READ THIS BOOK!
My absolute favorite book!!!

I bought this book at a school book fair because I thought it looked interesting. Talk about the understatement of the year. When 7 school students enter The Night Room to "see" their tenth high school reunions. They figure it'll be a kick. But it can be disturbing to see yourself like that.Meanwhile, Micheal Radford, whose girlfriend broke up with him because of something she saw in the Night Room.He wants to get revenge, putting one of the school students at risk. This is my favorite book, and I've read many.Read this, you will not be disappointed.

This is a great book to investigate the human mind. An elite group of friends are chosen to go through with a computer program that will simulate their tenth high school reunion, it is called argus. So far only college students have tried the program, now this elite group of seven friends will be the first high schoolers to try it. They will discover more then just friendship, you will also learn about the determination and intrigue of a young reporter, and a very serious realationship will bloom. This is an oddessey of the human mind. Their information was taken down by people called interviewers. Eeach one learns something very special or terrifing about themselves. Who is it to judge people's fears why of course only themselves. This tale also tells the dark side of technologey what you read may shock you or even terrify you. This book will make you think about your own shortcomings or your talents you may also realize your afaird of more than just the ordinary, You can also learn wonderful things or terrifing about yourselves. READER BEWARE, this is not your plain old dr.seuss story this is a wonderful book that will keep you up for hours on end and at the edge of your seat. They were told to wear loose and light clothing... The journey begins. Beware you may want to get off the ride in the middle, you will not totalley grasp the true meaning of the story.

The book, "The Night Room", was on a summer reading list for school. It sounded intruiging, so I decided to read it. Afterward, I found that I had made the right decision. The book was excellenly put together, and the plot was enjoyable and witty. E.M. Goldman displays a selected group of 11th grade students that were chosen to participate in the Argus project in the Night Room. This is a simulated look at their 10th high school reunion. The students find out that someone is not at the party, and discover that she died in high school. After beginning the book, I could not put it down; I read the whole book in two sittings. A great read for teens, grades 7-11. Goldman's plot is like no other that I have come across; a very unique idea indeed. All in all, I strongly reccomend this sci-fi like novel not only to teens, but to anyone who is the least bit interested in this genre.
