Volume Seven, The Newest Stuff, 2016-2018, (Percentiles of Emotion) begins with "Poet" an intimate look at the process of writing itself. "God's Love Is. ." is the ultimate "hope" poem. "Words Are" is another of my "Poetry" poems, so is "Muse Unamused" only a bit humorous. "Con Man" is about that smooth talking rascal we can't resist. 'Wavelength'. "Thirteenth Day," and "No Hidden Agenda," are all love poems, though each one different from the others. "When You Go" and "Thinkin' You Understand" are fantasies dealing with real life issues. "Head of a Pin" just came out of nowhere, ha. "King" and "Fault Line" are me poems about aging and disappointments we collect like coins or stamps. "My Hope" is an homage to Emily Dickinson (hope she likes it). Finally, "Nothing Personal" discusses I.C.E. agents and our tortured immigration policy. "Dig Deep" is a religious poem, and "Shooters" and "Parkland" close this volume with a cry toward solving our cultural obsession with firearms, and the damage they do. Enjoy the read and the adventure
