The book to turn to when looking for a North American recipe

I bought this book on a remainder table in 1980 and have used it ever since. It is one of the best reference cookbooks I have ever owned. From pickles to pot roast, if you're looking for a recipe, it's in there! And you won't find just one recipe, but several from all different regions of the country. A must have!
