Lauren hates the idea of a new life in space. Her dad lost his job and couldn't find one on Earth, so they had to move way out to Cielo Prime, a space station near the asteroid belt. She and her sister Julia know they aren't going to like it. The sisters struggle to make life as normal as it can be on a space station. That is, until Julia's science experiment makes them deathly ill. After that, things change. Creatures they've never seen before lurk on the fringes of their after-school hangouts.
