Great thriller!

People on the hill are the same as those that are not, some good, some criminals, It just might take longer to catch them, protected by wealth and prestige. This was a nicely twisted thriller between the haves and have nots, those that want to belong (like Allie) and three different cases that are interwoven together into one great story. Weaving in a 10 year old case of a couple murdered in their home on Valentine's Day (told mostly via a podcast called Without Conviction), a recently murdered real estate agent found floating down the river in a kayak and several mysterious break ins to some of the big houses on the hill. Add in the bumps of the relationship between Ffion and Leo mixed with issue of Leo's ex wife, and it just makes the story complete and also impossible to put down! Lots os suspicious behavior and possibly more than one murderer on the loose! This is a great series and I will always make time to read more thrillers by Clare Mackintosh, especially if I can get more DC Ffion Morgan!
