Recommended for those interested in Canadian civil liberties

At the time this was published, Borovoy had been General Council of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) for 30 years. He has seen massive societal changes in that time, and now he's seeing a disturbing tendency: Organizations that gained much under a liberal aegis are now using anti-liberal arguments to further their cause--thereby hurting everyone, including themselves, in the process. This book is a clarion for Canadian civil libertarians, as well as a jolting smack to those who have unwittingly abandoned liberalism's essential universality.
