My wife recollects our first date... (Valerie )I remember the butterflies I had as I got dressed in the anticipation of what it would be like. I had to have- the prefect outfit, hair just right and of course I had to be draped with a sweet fragrance that would linger and leave him captivated. My nerves were all over the place. He was the prefect gentlemen. He came inside to meet my parents; opened and closed the door for me, and of course, he took care of all the required expenses for the evening. I thought, 'OMG this cannot be real.' Even though I was terribly shy, he was so incredibly charming, I had no choice but to talk to him. On the return home from our date, neither of us wanted the date to end so we enjoyed the moment for what it was because it was thebeginning of something new.
