Another enjoyable journey

Joe and Ana are the latest in the growing list of wonderfully flawed characters from the talented mind of Michael Zadoorian. With each novel, he manages to weave his love of the Detroit metro area with introspective, sometimes uncomfortable slices of life. I found Ana and Joe's struggles maintaining their once closely-held ideals, familial pressures, relationship lulls, and societal pressure to fit into a mold they never wanted to be highly relatable. Zadoorian again embellishes his writing with colorful language. While others may find it offensive I feel he deftly captures the internal dialogue many of us Gen Xers have.
