Milly loves Napkin Rabbit, the wonderful new animal that Uncle George had fashioned out of two dinner napkins, but her other toys' jealousy threatens their relationship. This description may be from another edition of this product.
We all know you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. But, you can make a rabbit out of two napkins. Who would have thought it? Certainly not a little girl who is absolutely delighted when her uncle presents her with a rabbit made out of napkins. In fact, she's so pleased that the naphin rabbit becomes her favorite toy. Well, you can imagine what that did to the other stuffed animals and dolls. They were green with envy, so jealous that they made life miserable for poor napkin rabbit and he ran away. Of course, there's a happy ending as we knew there would be and napkin rabbit is finally accepted by the other toys. There's a bonus in this book - 4 napkins so that youngsters can learn to make their own napkin rabbits. Thus, children learn a valued lesson about friendship and also practice dexterity. (With a little help from their parents).
