The N00b Warriors: Book One - The Graphic Novel

By Scott Douglas

A full color graphic novel adaptation of The N00b Warriors by Scott Douglas.

Fifteen years ago, a blog post started a war. Now the Forever War is running out of soldiers, and kids as young as thirteen are being drafted.

When a recruiting truck rolls through Carlsbad, sixteen-year-old Dylan Austen and his best friend, Trinity, are marked for Company D: the guinea pigs, the recruits nobody expects to come back. Their training is a video game. Their first battlefield is an abandoned amusement park.

Dylan never wanted to lead. But from the ruined park to the trenches of Seattle, he finds himself responsible for Trinity; for Hunter, a thirteen-year-old who won't leave his side; and for a company of kids fighting a war no one can explain. Their commander has his own mission: a legendary golden game console that supposedly sends whoever finds it home.

The deeper Dylan goes, the clearer it becomes that the people running this war are playing a game of their own.
