The book starts with an introduction to 2 sorts of intended readers: the High potential and the entrepreneur. I made an instant match with the entrepreneur role which kept me captivated to read the rest of the book. The book gives good tips some of which I already use but not consistently and not enough. It describes the readers experiences that sometimes I did not always agree with yet I could see would work in some situations. The last section which I found entertaining, described the cultural differences to networking in different countries. This book is definitely worth reading. If you are like me and recognize all the valuable inputs people can give but have problems finding a systematic approach to bring focus and execution then I would recommend reading this in combination with Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity book. The well written introduction set a high expectation that I at least felt was not fulfilled by the rest of the book. Still worth reading.

Don't wait until you need to read this book to read it and live it. Its a fun and refreshing way to approach the way to see success in your career, and in business. From golf to conferences, they provide interesting examples to keep your network helping. This is a nice and easy read, and don't feel inclined to study it. Pick it up and flip to any area for good content, right away. Likened it to Never Eat Lunch Alone, Linked, Tim Sanders, and Tipping Point; great books that show trending in improving social networking by utilizing technology to align motivations. As they show, use the tools (i.e. linkedin.com) to help prep relationships. Social networking is all the rage, and will continue to be the source for much innovation, especially with information executives leading the way. Adrie & Marion get it, and you should too.:)
