The Mystical Noise

Little Lucy teaches a yoga class to a group of students in a gym studio. They begin their meditating chant. The participants become so focused and meditative that their chant grows louder throughout the gym. Members in the gym run all over in a panic not knowing what's making that noise. One man pulls the fire alarm creating extreme confusion. People start to think there is a fire. Firemen, policemen and medical attendants are brought to the scene to extinguish the imaginary fire. Meanwhile, with all this chaos the yoga participants continue their yoga practice despite the disturbances around them. The medical team soon discovers there is NO fire and the big sound came from the YOGA CLASS. This short story is an introduction to the concepts of yoga for the young reader helping to teach focus, meditation/breathing in a fun, light hearted way.
