Great Summer Read

This was my favorite summer read. I had a lot of trouble putting this book down. The protagonist is a despicable man who destroyed his family and emotionally scarred his son. Yet, his character was so well-developed that I found myself rooting for him as he gradually and somewhat reluctantly transformed himself. At the end of the book, I wished there was one more sentence. Still, I can't wait for this author's next book.
