Probably dating from the turn of the century, or the early 1900's, this small book has another and very valid view of the occult. There is an excellent explination of Gemantia for the non specialist, and some background material that will assist the neophyte magician in understanding that all magic does not come from either fremasonry or Crowley. I have no prior acquaintenceship with the author, but it seems to me that he likely was one of those numerous real mages that sepecialize in keeping out of the public eye as they do their training and make the changes they see as being proper in the order of the world. He certaily needs to become better known that he is, as this book, while hardly 'modern,' is a real jewel. I highly reccomend it to anyone interested in the occult.
