The Mystic Journey

A despondent man runs, fleeing from human perversion. Suddenly, he is enthralled by the beauty of his surroundings. Hope welling in his heart, he stops, begins to sing and dance. Suddenly, he falls to the ground, loses consciousness and is spirited away into a mystic journey. Soaring through time and space, he witnesses great events in history and is caught up into biblical narratives and mysterious allegories of the human condition. This epic poem stages the unrelenting spiritual-ideological war and the atrocities that Evil, his human accomplices and propagators wage against humanity. Through suffering and despair the reader is led into moments of renewed hope, with unfolding scenes of terror intermittently infused with God's consoling Mercy.
