There are two other dogs on the farm, Harry, who is a very elderly lurcher, and Ryker, her Uncle's dog who follows him everywhere. Her Aunt and Uncle are very welcoming, but Jenny still misses her Mum and needs another child to explore the farm with her. Everything is quite ordinary until Maggie arrives, and then mysterious things start to happen.
