Calix Wesserman is a thirty-four year old private investigator who lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She spends most of her time pursuing cases of infidelity. One day, she comes across a case that isn't like any others. She has difficulty determining what, if anything, is going on. She finds a tangled skein of lies, half-truths, and omissions so complicated and baffling that she believes she will never solve the case.When she asks for more information, she is suddenly presented with a death threat.
