Trixie Belden is at her normal height in this well-written book, far above that of more juvenile kids' detective fiction. I have found this book (as well as other TB books) to be much more realistic than the norm. Even adults enjoy reading these. I am 20 and haven't gotten tired of them yet...
All around great story

This is one of the best in the Trixie Belden series. A tiny baby, a lost little boy, and Trixie and Honey on the case. When Bobby discovers a baby in the doghouse, it is up to the Bob-Whites to return the infant to his parents. In the mix, Davey is also missing and a ransom note has been delivered. This is one of the intriging and touching of all of the Trixies. This book has one of my favorite lines - when Mrs. Belden announces that the walls of Crabapple farm are elastic. I know that there would be room for me.
