The Mushroom Hunter was a labor of love for the author and shorter than all the stories she would have liked to have included but it was painful after so fresh a loss. The Mushroom Hunter is a collection of short stories that were retold at her late brother's funeral. She wanted to make sure that the stories were not forgotten and so bound them into this small collection of unique stories about her brother, Tim McCord who lost his battle with cancer at the young age of fifty-four years old.
