It's the off-season in Cascade Cove, and a disgruntled magician, Rufus the Magnificent, is in town to perform his final magic show. But things aren't that magnificent for the people of the Cove when a body is found on the dangerous rocky terrain leading to the old Beachside Beacon.

Sarah is excited to enjoy her first Christmas in Florida, and her spontaneous grandpa and sassy cousin go above and beyond to make it her best one yet.
