The Mural

Slieve Bloom is a 15th century medieval castle that sits in the heart of Ireland, rich in romantic saga and haunting folklore. Like most ancestral estates, the manor has its share of secrets. Kathy Carroll is a successful, Grammy winning, new age classical musician who buys the small castle. She is immediately drawn to the 600 yr old mural which occupies 3 stories of the great room in her new home. As Kathy and her close circle of friends begin their new lives in Ireland, things begin to change, starting with the mural itself. The demon Torin was once a man that fought in the army of King James II of Scotland and had fallen victim to the dark magic of a gypsy witch who once served in the house of Vlad Tepes, also known as Dracul. He was now a prisoner within the walls of Slieve Bloom, inside the great mural, banished within a frozen picture of the past by the Druids who keep watch over the manor and its residents. Torin becomes the focus of Kathy's world. Together they work to reverse the Druid magic and bring about his reincarnation until she realizes that it will come with horrific consequences. Caught between the love of this demon and the terror within the mural, Kathy's life is turned upside down when the people around her begin to die mysteriously, forcing her to choose the demon, who has taken her heart and twisted it until she no longer distinguishes the difference between good and evil, and protecting the people that she loves.
