Death is but a doorway to a new life.

“Death is but a doorway to a new life. We live today; we shall live again. In many forms shall we return” – Egyptian Prayer of Resurrection Yes, there are a lot of mummies out there floating around in the video world; you recognize some of them with Boris Karloff, Peter Cushing, and even Brendan Fraser. This mummy is more loosely based on “The Jewel of Seven Stars,” a novel by Bram Stoker. The story starts with lots of action and mystery. We are introduced to the heroes and heroines. Everything goes along fine until we are introduced to “Dr. Jekyll”; then the story takes a turn from Classics such as “The Jewel of the Seven Stars” and turns into a mundane version of “Warehouse 13” (2009), the television series. And to our dismay, we find this movie is just the long-running pilot.
