Guilty Pleasure

I know the other reviewers are right and the hero really was a pain, but I loved this book. With that said, the female character was just great, and the hero turned out pretty darn good himself. I found the interaction between the two very believable and I even thought the secondary characters were interesting and wonderful. And the author did a great job with descriibng their life styles, especially the heroine. This was, to me, a highly entertaining read. I recommend this guilty pleasure of a book.

Interesting plot line

I really enjoyed this book. I dont remember reading other books by this author, but I certainly look her up. I enjoyed the bantering between the 2, and I also liked that the heroine wasnt too much of a pushover. She stood her ground...most of the time!

A great book if you like the selfish hero that badly mistreats the heroine type, but really badly misnamed. The story line is more original than many I have read recently. The couple had a sexual relationship for nearly a year, several years ago, but the heroine was dumped so that the hero could go in search of his fortune. They again meet, after the hero has made his fortune, to find a strong attraction still exists, however, the hero, Alessandro, wants the benefits while still trying to avoid emotional commitment.
