An environmental scientist finally catches a good break with a team dedicated to improving scientific research that would improve the ecosystem. The bond in this budding group of nerds is still edgy. They engage in a hiking trip to create a healthy working relationship while amassing all that Mother Nature will provide in its raw form. But while on the trip, something tragic happens. Paul wakes up in a camp full of dead team members.

Paul does not remember much, and whatever he says to the police will only jeopardize his already complicated life.

All evidence suggests that he is the murderer, but he has enough trust in himself to believe that he isn't a killer or a psychopath. But who would believe him?

The woods are guarded by dark elements that do not consider Paul as an ally, neither does Paul. Nevertheless, Paul must find a way to get the answers he seeks from these strange beings and possibly eliminate them if he can.
