I had never heard of this organization, The Moth, but apparently they go around the country and in small venues (bars, coffee shops, etc.) people get up and tell a short story about something in their lives. Most of these people are not professional speakers and there is generally a topic for the evening. The book is divided into multiple sections, dealing with different areas. At first I was confused, thinking this was an anthology of short stories, but once I started reading it I found it to be refreshing in it's honesty and the many, many different points of view. The book itself is beautifully bound, with dark grey hardback and gorgeous gold trim outlining the Moth. A great read.
