Annabelle, a beautiful and deadly vampire-witch hybrid, has spent her life walking the razor's edge between two worlds. Feared by some, hunted by others, she has learned to trust no one and rely only on her own power.
Her latest mission is the most dangerous yet: to find and destroy the legendary Moon Sword, an ancient artefact coveted for centuries by vampires, witches, werewolves, and every supernatural creature desperate for its unimaginable power.
During her hunt, Annabelle crosses paths with David, a quiet but observant writer who carries a secret of his own. Unlike most humans, David knows the truth; monsters, magic, and myths walk among them. He's been researching them for years, hoping to turn his knowledge into the perfect novel. What he didn't expect was to meet someone like Annabelle, a woman who embodies everything he's only dared to imagine.
And he certainly didn't expect to fall for her.
Drawn to her strength, her mystery, and the vulnerability she tries so hard to hide, David becomes entangled in Annabelle's world. His werewolf best friend only complicates things further, especially when he realises Annabelle might be the perfect protagonist for David's book- and the perfect partner for something far more dangerous.
After moments of heat that neither of them can deny, followed by stretches of cold distance Annabelle uses to protect herself, the unlikely trio forms a fragile alliance.
Together, they set out to track the Moon Sword before it falls into the wrong hands. Every step of the journey forces Annabelle and David closer, testing their trust, their desire, and the boundaries between human and supernatural.
But the Moon Sword has a way of revealing truths- and exposing weaknesses. As enemies close in and secrets rise to the surface, Annabelle must confront not only the darkness around her, but the one she's carried within herself for centuries.
Will they find the Moon Sword before it destroys everything they've begun to build?
Or will its power tear them apart?
