The Moon and the Stars
This wonderful collection of short stories is the first by author Marian Carcache. Many of her stories have been previously published in literary journals and anthologized in various works, but this is the first time her stories have appeared in a volume of her own. Her main characters are quirky, funny, sometimes a bit sad, always charming, and they each possess an inner toughness that belies their seemingly fragile nature. At times laugh-out-loud funny, Carcache's characters will stick with you long after you finish reading their stories.
