Lots to discuss

My mother gave me this book when I was 7 years old. Now my 7 year old and I like to read it and discuss it. The message about being wary of strangers bearing gifts may be difficult to explain to a very young child, but the story is funny nonetheless. We have fun seeing how many parrots appear in the book, too!
