Practical, easy to understand family financial concepts

I have personally known Howard for quite a few years. I also have had the high honor of consulting with his mortgage company and therefore know him and his company very well. I can tell you that Howard is a man of honor and has written this book, from his heart, hoping to help the millions of Americans who struggle with their personal finances. Howard's book lays out a very easy to understand plan, that if followed, will dramatically change the way you look at money and set you on a path towards sound financial stewardship. I would also recommend that, as you read his book, you teach these basic concepts to your children and grandchildren so that they have a leg up on this epidemic problem in our culture.

Just what the doctor ordered

The message is clear in this book and the easy-to-use practical system introduced is just what I needed. I am recommending this book to friends and family. The book offers great information and an important tool to help improve the way people track and handle their income and expenses.

Fantastic book!

I read this entire book on a cross country flight, and it is so good that I was really inspired to share it with my family and friends! I am buying copies for all my kids (late teens to mid 20's) because the advice in this book will save them from having years of financial set backs, and hard life lessons. I especially liked the descriptions of couples who have different spending habits (savers vs. spenders), and how you can use the steps in the book to get agreement and peace between the styles. This is one of the best books I have ever seen on bringing simple, useful family budgeting tools to everyone, with the goal of saving and planning for the future.

Excellent financial guide

I personally know Howard Bono and his mentor Rick Ruby. Howard has done the best thing he could do for his mentor whcih is to be a great role model and teach others. In this book Howard enlists simple yet effective strategies that have worked for him and numerous others who have become "Everyday Millionaires". If you are looking to make substantial changes in your financial future while implementing just 7 steps on a monthly basis, this book is for you. I know that Howard is dedicated to take this message to all Americans who find themselves challenged with consumer debt and no retirement funds. Just read and start on your journey to financial freedom.

It actually works!

Unlike other finance or budgeting books, The Money Thing Made Easy sheds light on the fact that most of us are just a couple paychecks away from disaster. Instead of making readers feel guilty for getting themselves stuck where they are, Bono offers some actionable steps that can be taken to get out of trouble and on track to financial security. Instead of just saying, "save more, spend less" he provides clever ways to actually make that happen. The budget worksheets he provides are invaluable for monitoring cash flow. I highly recommend this book for anyone who at the end of the month ever wondered where all their money went. A great graduation gift as kids are starting out to help them avoid getting into the financial trouble many of their parents are in!
