Kids will love the dual storyline format as well as the art style. I love the personality both author and illustrator reveal of these characters. Kids will be rooting all the way to the end: "Two Mollys full of gumption. Indomitable. Brave. Unable to be sunk." Extensive back matter directs the reader to animal welfare organizations and much more for the kids who want to do something and/or learn more.
