Darling book

This is an absolutely darling book especially for those who love the people in the Mitford series. Nice little stocking stuffer.

A must have book for those who love and admire Father Tim.

"The Mitford Snowmen" is a happy Christmas story that takes is for a very short visit to Mitford at our favorite time of the year. In the spirit of "Jeremy:The Honest Bunny" Jan Karon allow us to see the our favorite friends and they touch our hearts for a few minutes. It's a terrific addition to my Christmas memories along with the Hallmark tree ornaments of the snowmen. Happy Holidays to All! Thanks, Jan!

The Mitford Snowmen will make you warm inside

Even though this book is small in size and there are only 23 pages, the content is all Jan Karon. If you're a fan of Ms. Karon and her magically Mitford world, you'll love this small book. It brings you right back to downtown Mitford with all the personal descriptions that I have come enjoyed about Mitford. This book will get you into the holiday spirit and will have you making snowmen in no time (even if you don't have snow). It may even inspire you to purchase the 4 piece snowmen set that have been created via Hallmark. I know am a proud owner of 4 wonderful snowmen ornaments and each time I look at them, I see Mitford. I anticipate every book that Ms. Karon creates and can't wait for the next.

The Mitford Snowmen

I really liked this book. Unlike the other reviewers who did notlike this story, I found it to be fun. It is, to me, a story of a town just in making the snowmen they had fun doing it and forgot the everyday doldrums. We should all do something like this once in awhile to remind us that life is too short & we should go back to our childhood every once and awhile. I would recommend this book for all ages.
